The Wish List: Manfrotto's Versatile Pixi Mini Tripod Is Small But Mighty

Verdict: A tripod is a must have item for photographers so we all have at least one in our gear bag or studio. While handy, there are times when it simply isn't practical to carry around a stand size tripod and some places (such as museums) don't allow one.

Manfrotto Pixi Mini Tripod

4.2
Verdict: Manfrotto's Pixi mini tripod is one of the smallest tabletop tripods available – and also one of the simplest. It sports a universal ?-inch screw socket that can accept almost any device, ranging from an entry-level DSLR with a lightweight lens to a smart-phone with tripod adapter.

stability

5.0
Pros: Compact, Easily Adjusted, Good Footing, Lightweight, Locks In Tight, Smooth Movement
Cons: Unstable
Verdict: Very well designed, good size and stable with cameras like canon 5d3 and 50mm lens, but with lenses like 24-70 and 16-35 f/2.8 the tripod ball head stem is not made of metal which appears to flex causing the camera movement, but is perfect for small cameras.

Very stable and as advertised

4.0
Pros: Super durable, lightweight, and seems to function quite nicely. The added swivel function to the smartphone clamp is a real treat! The clamp itself can be mounted without any problems and is easy to use
Cons: No Bluetooth or any electronic enabled functionality
Verdict: Overall, a superb product would highly recommend, but just beware if you're looking to upload your videos/photos to the internet. You'll have to use the built-in functionality of your phone and not of the stand since it doesn't provide auto recording techniques via Bluetooth which would have made...

Little tripod that works well and looks go

5.0
Verdict: This is a great little device for those of you who want a steady platform for photos without needing to lug a full sized tripod around. It only had one height, but the rotating head allows for lots of good angles when shooting! Highly recommended!

Great for fujifilm

3.0
Verdict: Wasn't all that bouncy as some people have written. Maybe because i didn't have a big dslr body and 70-200mm lens. Works perfect on fujifilm xt1 35mm f2.

nice little tripod

4.0
Verdict: size is compact, well built. easy to lock and find best position. down side is it can't take too much load, it's said to be able to hold up to 5.5lb, but the manual recommends not to over 750g, which is about 1.6lb.

Strong and well-made

4.0
Verdict: Good finish to a well-made small tripod, making it convenient for both hand-held and as a tripod. As I am trying to cut down on weight for travelling, it is perhaps a little heavier than I expected for my shoulder bag, but it is better to avoid wobbly video than not take it.
