The Wish List: Manfrotto's Versatile Pixi Mini Tripod Is Small But Mighty

No reviews
Verdict: A tripod is a must have item for photographers so we all have at least one in our gear bag or studio. While handy, there are times when it simply isn't practical to carry around a stand size tripod and some places (such as museums) don't allow one.

Manfrotto Pixi Mini Tripod

4.2
Verdict: Manfrotto's Pixi mini tripod is one of the smallest tabletop tripods available – and also one of the simplest. It sports a universal ?-inch screw socket that can accept almost any device, ranging from an entry-level DSLR with a lightweight lens to a smart-phone with tripod adapter.

Very stable and as advertised

4.0
Verdict: Overall, a superb product would highly recommend, but just beware if you're looking to upload your videos/photos to the internet. You'll have to use the built-in functionality of your phone and not of the stand since it doesn't provide auto recording techniques via Bluetooth which would have made...
Pros: Super durable, lightweight, and seems to function quite nicely. The added swivel function to the smartphone clamp is a real treat! The clamp itself can be mounted without any problems and is easy to use
Cons: No Bluetooth or any electronic enabled functionality

Awesome. Easy to use.

4.0
Verdict: I use it for a small projector that travels with me for business. It replaced the stock piece of junk that came with the projector. Very sturdy for the projector. I have zero fear it will tip over. The push button on it is awesome; well made, easy to use, a huge improvement from the stock tripod.

Brilliant Little Tripod

5.0
Verdict: This is built really well. It feels solid in the hand (it wouldn't break easily). It's compact (it folds away nicely). The hinges have a nice degree of resistance to them when you open or close the legs (they're neither too loose nor too stiff).

Strong and well-made

4.0
Verdict: Good finish to a well-made small tripod, making it convenient for both hand-held and as a tripod. As I am trying to cut down on weight for travelling, it is perhaps a little heavier than I expected for my shoulder bag, but it is better to avoid wobbly video than not take it.

A handy accessory for landscapes

5.0
Verdict: Excellent for time exposures outdoors and compact enough to live permanently in my camera bag. Slightly too bulky to carry in my coat pocket. The extending legs increase the versatility usefully.
Pros: Lightweight, Quality Feel And Manufact
Cons: Slightly Too Bulky
