Samsung Galaxy S9 SM-G960F 64GB

No reviews
Verdict: The Samsung Galaxy S9 is smaller than the Galaxy S9+, and that's a good thing. The single-camera setup at the rear keeps up on most counts with the dual-camera setup on the S9+. There's also less RAM on the Samsung Galaxy S9, but on the face of it that doesn't really matter.

Samsung Galaxy S9

No reviews
Verdict: Last year Samsung didn't unveil a Galaxy smartphone at MWC 17, instead focusing on its manufacturing standards and unveiling the Galaxy S8 a couple of months later. The move proved a smart one, with the Galaxy S8 taking top spot in our books as the best phone of the year.
Pros: Impressive design; Bright and crisp display; Great all round camera; High powered processor
Cons: Bixby still meh; Not a huge step up from S8

Samsung Galaxy S9

4.0
Verdict: The Galaxy S8 was the best phone of 2017. The Galaxy S9 is a little better. The Galaxy S9+ is even better. It's up to you whether the size and cost are worth the power: For us, they are.
Pros: Feels great in one hand. Excellent low-light camera performance. Better sound and network support than the Galaxy S8

Samsung Galaxy S9 SM-G960F 64GB

4.0
Verdict: It's a sad fact, but the only chance the Samsung Galaxy S9 had to stand out in an ocean of equally competent Android smartphones in 2018 was if its camera was the very, very best – better than all the rest. And, to a certain extent, Samsung has pulled that off with the Galaxy S9.

Samsung Galaxy S9 – Review

4.4
Verdict: After my time with the S9 I have to admit there is a lot to like, and a few things that could use a little improvement here or there. Samsung Galaxy S9 Smartphone Review

4.2
Verdict: We prefer the Samsung Galaxy S9 over its larger sibling S9+. It is not as bulky and the dual-camera is not worth the additional price. The Korean manufacturer once again delivers a really great smartphone, but it is more of a facelift of last year's Galaxy S8 and there are still some bugs, and some...
Pros: appealing design, great display, fast SoC, LTE Cat. 18, protected against water and dust, expandable storage, Dual-SIM SKU available (Duos, good sensor equipment, USB 3.1 with DP, HDMI, and OTG, great camera, wireless charging, Ultra HD videos at 60 FPS

Samsung Galaxy S9 SM-G960F 64GB

Verdict: Despite being launched as a completely new generation, I'd say the Galaxy S9 itself is a transition model. Samsung Galaxy S9 Review

4.5
Verdict: The Samsung Galaxy S9 forces us to question upgrades for their own sake. On the one hand, there's our desire as consumers to have the very latest tech gadget, even if we don't even use the phone we have now to its full extent.
Pros: Galaxy S8's excellent design gets even better, Screen, performance & battery all solid, Camera capable of impressive low-light performance, Price is competitive
Cons: Intelligent Scan trades security for convenience, Super Slow-mo is 720p only and needs bright lighting, Bixby still feels gimmicky

Samsung Galaxy S9 SM-G960F 64GB

No reviews
Verdict: Let's not beat around the bush, the exterior of the Samsung Galaxy S9 is essentially a carbon copy of the S8 . Yet, even with all that sameness, Samsung's balanced no-notch design seems more considered than before. It doesn't feel needy like a lot of the new iPhone X copycat handsets I saw at MWC.

Samsung S9 review: a refined Android flagship with show-stealing camera

5.0
Verdict: The Samsung Galaxy S9 is, in terms of hardware and design, an iterative update of last year's Galaxy S8 . The S9 features the exact same screen as last year's phone, the same amount of RAM and storage, the same capacity battery, and an almost identical design, too.

Review: Samsung's new Galaxy S9 phones make excellence routine

No reviews
Verdict: Let's face it: the changes you're going to see in smartphones every year are pretty incremental. With some significant exceptions (I'm looking at you, user interface of the iPhone X ), today's phones aren't all that much different than the phones of three years ago. Faster, yes, More memory, sure.
Pros: Solid performance; classic Samsung design; Dex dock allows use as desktop computer
Cons: Iris scan feature needs work; Bixby virtual assistant remains a work in progress; AR Emoji a half-baked gimmick

Samsung Galaxy S9

4.2
Verdict: The Galaxy S9 is a nice incremental upgrade, but its low-light camera isn't a game changer and some new features fall far behind the iPhone X. S8 owners can skip, but it's a good upgrade from older Androids.
Pros: The Galaxy S9 once again proves Samsung's formula of a gorgeous 5.8-inch screen, sexy dual-curved design and terrific camera for well-lit shots can't go wrong. Whiplash-fast speeds, wireless charging and water-resistance complete the package. And it looks stunning in purple and blue
Cons: Low-light photos often look blurry and lack the fine texture and contrast of competing phone cameras. The Galaxy S9's camera frequently, accidentally switches between modes. 3D avatar software is tragically bad and a new face-unlock tool is inherently insecure.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ review: Refinement, refined

No reviews
Verdict: The nice thing about the Galaxy S9 and S9+ is that they hold very few mysteries. Go back to our review of the S8 twins last year, and the majority of what you'll read there applies here. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ were great phones, and the S9 and S9+ are better versions of them.
Pros: Display An absolutely brilliant screen - the best on any smartphone out there. Amazing brightness, colors, and viewing angles, Fingerprint scanner The fingerprint scanner is back in a location where it won't give you constant frustration.
Cons: So much glass I mean, this should be obvious - the Galaxy S9 looks kind of fragile. There's a lot of glass on this phone. Use a case, Updates Even with Project Treble, Samsung still avoids committing to a period of Android OS updates, let alone timely ones, for its flagship handsets.
